 Able Wire EDM is a Veteran Owned company that has been in business for over 35 years. We specialize in all aspects of EDM, and CNC Machining.   We are AS9100:2016/ ISO9001:2015 Certified, and ITAR registered.

 Our specialty is "difficult to machine" materials such as, titanium, hastalloy, copper, brass, kovar, inconel, carbide, etc. We occupy two climate controlled facilities, totaling 15,000 sq. ft., in the City of Brea, CA. Located just off the 57 freeway, between the 60 and 91 freeways in Orange County. 

Our Founder- John W. Marquardt

John, a Vietnam War Veteran founded Able Wire EDM, Inc. in 1988 after spending 20 years as a tool and die maker/ EDM specialist for another company.  He started with a small rented space in Orange, Ca, bought a couple of EDM machines, and worked 20+ hours a day building what is now one of the largest EDM shops in the US.
